Acceptable Use Policy

Last updated: July 31, 2026

This Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) applies to all use of the Endpointry Services and forms part of the Terms of Service. The goal is simple: keep the platform reliable for everyone and keep the use of data lawful and respectful.

1. Unlawful or harmful use

You may not use the Services to:

  • violate any applicable law or regulation, or infringe third-party rights;
  • stalk, harass, surveil or profile private individuals, or make decisions producing legal effects about individuals without a lawful basis;
  • distribute malware, phishing content or spam;
  • misrepresent the origin of data or pass our Services off as your own API product.

2. Data handling obligations

  • Use data obtained through the Services in compliance with applicable data protection laws (including GDPR where relevant) and platform obligations that apply to you.
  • Honor deletion: if a data subject validly requests erasure from you, remove the data you obtained through the Services from your systems.
  • Do not build databases whose primary purpose is bulk re-sale or re-licensing of raw responses from the Services.

3. Platform integrity

  • Do not attempt to circumvent authentication, rate limits or quotas.
  • Do not share one API key across unrelated organizations or products.
  • Do not probe, scan or test the platform for vulnerabilities except through the responsible disclosure process described on the Security page.
  • Automated load or failover testing against production endpoints requires prior written approval.

4. Enforcement

We may throttle, suspend or terminate access that violates this AUP. Where practicable we will notify you and give you an opportunity to cure; we may act immediately when required to protect the platform, other customers or third parties. Serious violations may result in account termination under the Terms.
